Born in Vevey, Switzerland, Boz  grew up in south Florida, but has lived in Volusia County since attending Stetson University.  He is a former Assistant State Attorney, Seventh Judicial Circuit (1994-2001).  While in that position, he handled juvenile, misdemeanor and general felony cases.  He was chief Prosecutor, Sexual Crimes Division, where he gained much experience in cases involving sexual abuse and harassment. 

He currently serves as Adjunct Professor, Stetson University and Adjunct Professor, Daytona Beach Community College.  He is a Board Member, DeLand Historical Preservation Board; Member, Stetson Trustee Religious Life Council; Review Committee Member, Law Enforcement Block Grant; Board Member, DeLand Police Department Retirement Board; Board Member, Geneva Academy; and Board Member, the Neighborhood Center.

Boz is the attorney for the I-Care - Child Advocacy Center, as well as serving as a member of the Advisory Board for the Center.

He served as Lecturer, Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association Seminars (5/00-5/01) and as a Speaker at the Florida Conference on Child Abuse (5/99).
