Represented the Seventh Judicial Circuit as a member of the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar for six years, and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the Bar in a number of capacities, including Chairman for the past 20 years, as well as two years as Chairman of the Trust Law Committee and member of the Probate Code Legislative Study Commission (1973-75).  Served as the First Chairman of the Florida Bar Probate Certification Committee and the Realtor/Attorney Accord Committee that created the original Realtor/Attorney Accord

Served on the Joint Commission that drafted the Florida Probate Code and on the Volusia County Charter Study Commission that drafted the First Article VIII County Charter
