Mr. Masters has lived in the Daytona Beach area since 1959.  He is a former prosecutor and is now an experienced criminal defense attorney with over 23 years of trial experience.  He served 11 years as President of the Volusia County Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.  Mr. Masters also served as Chairman of the Seventh Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee "C".  In addition to criminal defense, Mr. Masters handles other civil litigation matters, including but not limited to personal injury and wrongful death.

While an Assistant State Attorney, Office of the State Attorney, Seventh Judicial Circuit (1983-88), Mr. Masters handled misdemeanors, felonies and served as a special prosecutor for drug trafficking cases for two and one-half years

He is a member of the Florida Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL); the Criminal Justice Review Committee for Volusia County (1997-__ ); and the Seventh Circuit Committee on Professionalism (1998).
